Remember those stunning Giuseppe Zanotti booties Eva Longoria was sporting a while back?
Well... I've found a similar look for way, way less.
Say hello to Ash' Heidi Sandals
These lovelies are available at Shopbob.com for €153,95 / $215... also in black and a beige/black combo.

Dear Santa...
Dear Santa,
I've been a very good girl this year. I ate all my veggies, flossed every night and except for that one time, when I gave that one guy the finger, I've been as sweet and as kind as a girl could be. Sooooo, can I please, please, pretty please with sugar on top... (You seem like the kind of guy who likes a lot of sugar) please can I have these Jimmy Choo booties for Christmas?
I saw them on Net-a-Porter for just € 1.350,-. And if they're sold out, then can I have these instead?
They're from Net-A-Porter as well and only € 1.195,-.
Thank you Santa!
xoxo

I like her shoes...
The Girl? Hanneli Mustaparta.
The Shoes? Isabel Marant Spring 2010 "Woody" sandals.
After looking every where online I still came up empty handed. I could not find these for sale online anywhere. It's too bad, but I'm not that surprised. They are just. that. fab.

The Randomness...
It's Sunday afternoon, time for some randomness...
Ever searched high and low for the perfect pair of shoes to go with that special outfit? In vain? Wouldn't it be nice if you could design your own shoes?
Well the answer is here: Shoes of Prey. One of my best friends tipped me on them this week. (Thanks Fran!) They offer a wide range of designs to choose from, in a multitude of textures and fabrics. It's so simple, literally 1, 2, 3 easy.
1. You choose the design you want.
2. You choose the fabric and color you want.
3. You click "Buy Now" and the shoes are shipped to your door! They even have a 30 day return policy! How utterly FAB is that!?
So now I'm thinking about shoes (well... to be honest, I'm always thinking about shoes) and with fall just around the corner, specifically winter boots. The only problem is that nothing is really grabbing my attention, except for these Chloé boots. I love the dainty scallop detailing on the back and the shape is just about perfect.
Available at Net-A-Porter for € 845. But I'll be keeping my eye out for a cheaper alternative.
For the first time ever I'm thinking about the upcoming fashion weeks and wishing I could go to New York fashion week this year.
A sign of things to come? Who knows. It's definitely been a dream of mine to visit New York one day. I will follow through on this feeling though and view the shows as they come online at style.com. I might even do a couple of reviews of the shows here on the blog. We'll see.
Another dream of mine has been to learn to speak French. I lived in Paris for about three months in the summer of 2000 and it's never let me go. Here's a beginners lesson in pronunciation I found on youtube today. As a big LV lover I think it's the perfect place to start ;-) Parlez vous LV?
Have a great week guys!

SOTD...
I had just enough time to take the photo's and dash out the door this morning, so today's post is a bit late. I wore my gold snake print flats today. Yes, flats again... I was rushing remember?
I paired them with a black t-shirt, cropped black pants and this military jacket.
Oops... there's that yoga ball again ;-)
I love this jacket! I've had it for years. Don't you love it when you can play "shop the trend" in your own closet?

SOTD...
Leopard print ballerina's of course! I do have a serious animal print habit.
I kinda like the leopard and pink combo. Threw in a leopard print belt for good measure. ;-)
You can see my inspiration wall (and 2 of my LV's and my tripod and my yoga ball... lol) in the back ground.

My cream sandals with little bows. So cute!
I wore them last night to dinner at my best friend's house.
Today I'm wearing my red satin ballerina's. There is something about red shoes that is so special.
It's raining today so I'm going for comfort. Here's a quick shot of my outfit. Just easy and casual.
Have great day everyone!!

SOTD...
After weeks of contemplating whether or not to color the cross straps on my "Chloe look-a-like" sandals I decided to go for it. The thing with a DIY project like this is that if it goes wrong I would have ruined a perfectly fine pair of new shoes... Like I did that one time when I sprayed a pair of leather boots to get a patent leather look. Which probably would have worked out fine if I had done it in a couple of thin layers instead of impatiently spaying too much in one go... We will never know, but let's just say you live and learn and move on because I am very pleased with how the sandals turned out.
So this is what they looked like before:
And this is what they look like now:
I think the contrasting color does give them a depth and dimension that they were lacking before. I'm glad I did it.

SOTD...
Although the weather has been a bit shifty lately, I broke out the wedge sandals today. I figured I'd take advantage of one of the last chances to wear them, before the weather changes completely and summer is over.
P.S. Red toenails make for happy feet. :-)

SOTD...
Inspired by the beautiful Delmy to wear my best and most beautiful, and as a way to get myself into the habit of posting everyday, I've decided to start posting my "shoe of the day"...
So here goes... these are my silver jazz flats. They make me HAPPY!
Photo taken with my phone camera, so not the best quality, but it's a start.

The look for less...
I'm really loving Chloé's SS-2010 Multi-strap leather & canvas sandals.
And even if I'd be prepared to pay € 457,90 for them a Net-A-Porter.com, they're sold out.
That said, these sandals are so hot it was really only a matter of time before cheaper versions started popping up. So I was pleased to find these lovelies at a whopping € 29!
Although I like that they're not identical to the Chloé sandals -I love the grey and the inni-mini little wegde heel- I am seriously considering coloring the cross straps dark brown or tan to get the color contrast which I love about the Chloé's.
...oh and in case you're wondering, I will not be rocking the leg warmers with these sandals. ;-)
