So it's Emmanuelle...

As you might have noticed, I've been a bit low key on the post front lately. I'm sorry, but I've been ssoooo busy. Busy stuffing my face over the holidays. Busy shopping the sales (more on that later) Busy laying about scratching my belly and playing games on Le BF's i-pad... so yeah not busy at all, but not lazy either. To tell you the truth I just wasn't inspired to blog. Zero inspiration, nothing, zip, zilch. That doesn't mean I was under a rock some where though. I've not missed a thing.

Like the Emmanuelle Alt's appointment as Vogue Paris' editor in chief? Can I call 'em or can I call 'em... Okay, alright, so we didn't exactly need a crystal ball to predict that one. She really was the next logical choice. I've noticed that a lot of people are skeptical about her ability to run a magazine, but I'm all for giving everyone a fair chance. And lest we forget... she is one half of the fantabulous cool that is this pic.

Something tells me she'll do just fine.  What do you guys think?

P.S. Yes, we will now return to our regular programming.

See the similarities? Yeah, I thought so. Right down to the grey t-shirt and the cuff in the pant leg. :)

I like it though. It seems, imitation still is the best form of flattery.

Emmanuelle has got me feenin' for a navy blue blazer. This is from the Fall 2010 collection. Thing is... this photo was taken last week in Milan. The Balmain show was yesterday... 

Somehow this feels wrong or unfair or... well something. To wear items from a new collection before it's first showing, is like letting the cat out of the bag prematurely... Like speaking before your turn, spoiling the surprise even. (Remember Snapplepuss?)   It ain't right I tell ya...

I'm such a goody two shoes... :-)
