Carine! Noooo!!!

British Vogue announced today that Carine Roitfeld will be leaving Vogue Paris at the end of January 2011. It isn't completely clear why she's leaving or what she plans do after that time other than that she has decided to "concentrate on personal projects"...

I have to admit that I'm a bit sad about this. Heck, I'm A LOT sad about this. I just can't believe it! Vogue Paris has become synonymous with Carine and now after ten years at the helm she's leaving! Oh God, I'm going to MISS her...

I'm really curious to know what those "personal projects" will be and if any of them have anything to do with Tom Ford's return to women's fashion. I just hope we will be seeing her around. She really is one of my heroes.  

I wonder who is going to replace her... Emmanuelle? Those are tough shoes to fill.
